Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Pyp ("Pyp," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our AI-powered roleplay tool. Pyp is a product of Navpoint AI LLC, a Utah limited liability company based in Lehi, Utah.

We take privacy seriously, and we've written this policy to be readable rather than intimidating. If anything is unclear, email [email protected].

1. Information we collect

Information you provide directly

When you sign up for Pyp, we collect:

  • Account information: Your name, email address, and phone number
  • Payment information: Processed by Stripe, our payment provider. We do not store your full credit card information on our servers — Stripe handles that on our behalf.
  • Subscription tier: Whether you're on Starter, Serious, or Custom
  • Onboarding survey responses (Serious tier): Information about your local market, including the city, state, and general market characteristics
  • Custom agent customization (Custom tier): Information about your business, including the lead types and deal scenarios you work with, your typical price ranges, your strategy, and any negotiation frameworks you study

Information generated through use

When you use Pyp, we collect:

  • Audio recordings of your practice calls: Stored on our servers for up to 90 days, then automatically deleted. By using Pyp, you provide express consent for recording from any jurisdiction, including those requiring two-party consent (see our Terms and Conditions for full consent language).
  • Transcripts of your practice calls: Stored on our servers indefinitely (you can request deletion at any time)
  • Briefing content: Information you share at the start of each call about the deal you're practicing (the seller's situation, the property, etc.)
  • AI-generated debriefs: Including conversion probability ratings, structured feedback, and improvement suggestions
  • Usage data: When you call, how long calls last, which scenarios you practice

Information collected automatically

We collect standard technical data:

  • IP address and approximate geographic location
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Pages viewed on our website and how you navigate the funnel
  • Email engagement (opens, clicks) for emails we send you

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Provide the service: Process your subscription, deliver phone numbers, run AI agents, generate transcripts and debriefs, send emails
  • Improve the product: Analyze patterns across calls (in aggregate, not by individual customer name) to identify common objections, improve our AI prompts, refine scenarios, and develop better features
  • Provide customer support: Help you troubleshoot issues by reviewing your specific calls or transcripts when you request help
  • Communicate with you: Send service-related notifications, billing notices, and important updates. We may also send marketing emails about new features or related content; you can opt out at any time
  • Prevent abuse: Detect and prevent fraud, unauthorized access, or violation of our Terms

We do not use your information to:

  • Sell to third parties for marketing purposes
  • Train AI models that benefit other customers' agents (your transcripts inform aggregate product improvements, but we don't train per-customer models from one customer's data into another customer's experience)
  • Share publicly without your explicit consent

3. How we share your information

We share your information only as follows:

Service providers we use to deliver Pyp

We use trusted third parties to operate Pyp:

  • Stripe (payment processing): Receives your payment information, billing address, and subscription details
  • GoHighLevel (CRM and infrastructure): Stores your contact record, manages workflows, and operates our voice AI
  • Email service providers: Send transactional emails (welcome, your number is ready, post-call summaries) and operational notifications
  • Voice AI infrastructure: Provides the underlying voice agent technology

Each of these providers has their own privacy practices and is contractually bound to handle your data only as needed to provide their service.

Legal requirements

We may share information if required by:

  • A valid subpoena, court order, or legal request
  • A reasonable belief that disclosure is necessary to comply with the law, prevent fraud, or protect our legal interests

If we receive a request for your data from law enforcement, we will only comply if the request is legally valid. We will notify you when legally permitted to do so.

Business transfers

If Pyp is acquired by or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new entity. We will notify you of any change in ownership or control of your personal information.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or marketers
  • We do not share your specific call recordings, transcripts, or briefings with other customers
  • We do not allow third parties to advertise to you within Pyp

4. Data retention

You can request deletion of your transcripts, briefing content, and account at any time. Email [email protected] with a deletion request, and we will:

  • Confirm receipt within 2 business days
  • Delete the requested data within 30 days
  • Retain only what we are legally required to keep (e.g., transaction records for tax purposes)

5. Your privacy rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

For all customers

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information
  • Deletion: Request that we delete your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Opt-out of marketing: Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time

For California residents (CCPA)

You have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:

  • Right to know what personal information we collect
  • Right to delete personal information
  • Right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
  • Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights

For residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws

The following states have enacted comprehensive consumer privacy laws granting residents rights similar to those above: California (CCPA/CPRA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Delaware (DPDPA), Indiana (ICDPA), Iowa (ICDPA), Kentucky (KCDPA), Maryland (MODPA), Minnesota (MCDPA), Montana (MCDPA), Nebraska (NDPA), New Hampshire (NHPA), New Jersey (NJDPA), Oregon (OCPA), Rhode Island (RIDTPPA), Tennessee (TIPA), Texas (TDPSA), Utah (UCPA), and Virginia (VCDPA).

If you are a resident of any of these states, you generally have the rights to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate personal data
  • Delete your personal data
  • Obtain a portable copy of your data
  • Opt out of certain processing (sale, targeted advertising, profiling)

To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within the timeframe required by your state's law (typically 30-45 days).

For European Union residents (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, including:

  • Right to access your data
  • Right to rectification of inaccurate data
  • Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
  • Right to restrict processing
  • Right to data portability
  • Right to object to processing
  • Right to withdraw consent

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally within 30 days).

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information:

  • Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS for all data sent to and from our servers)
  • Encryption at rest for sensitive data
  • Limited access controls — only authorized personnel can access customer data, and only when necessary for support or product improvement
  • Regular security reviews

That said, no system is perfectly secure. While we work hard to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you become aware of a security issue, please report it to [email protected] immediately.

7. Important guidance on briefings

When you brief the AI agent on a deal scenario, you may share information about real properties, sellers, or leads. We strongly recommend the following:

  • Only share what you would tell a colleague. The AI agent does not need full personal details to roleplay effectively.
  • Avoid sharing third-party personal information. Do not include Social Security numbers, full bank account numbers, medical information, or other highly sensitive personal data of sellers, buyers, leads, or anyone else.
  • Anonymize where possible. "A pre-foreclosure in Provo" or "an expired listing in Sandy" is more useful for practice than specific names and addresses.

You are responsible for ensuring that information you share through Pyp complies with applicable privacy laws. We treat all briefing content with the same privacy protections as transcripts (see Section 4 above).

8. Children's privacy

Pyp is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

9. International users

Pyp is based in the United States and our servers are located in the U.S. If you access Pyp from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. By using Pyp, you consent to this transfer.

We do not currently offer Pyp to customers in jurisdictions where additional regulatory requirements (such as data localization laws) would apply.

10. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Maintain your session when logged in
  • Remember your preferences
  • Analyze how customers use our site (via analytics tools)
  • Track marketing campaign effectiveness (via Meta Pixel and similar)

You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though some functionality may be affected. We honor "Do Not Track" signals.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy
  • Notify you via email or through the service
  • Provide at least 30 days' notice for significant changes affecting how we use your data

Continued use of Pyp after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
